The Black Night

[Victor]

Victor looked down the dark alley, barely able to see in the rain. Searching for any sign of movement, he carefully steps forward into the open. Before him lies the Cathedral. He gazes at the statues lurking about the steeple, and thinks to himself of their unspoken words contained in their stone bodies.

He walks to the large wooden door leading to the vestibule of this immense Cathedral. He opens the door slowly, and enters. As he steps forward, he makes out a figure in the dark. He freezes, and reaches for his sword. Then the unknown person speaks......

[Nightwing]

"Hey there Victor it's been a while. How long 3 years 4 years? I've been searching for you. I'm not going to kill you so put your sword away. Don't you remember me? It's Nightwing. Your old pal until you left with out a trace. Why did you leave excactly?" Nightwing looked at him coldly. " You left me for dead in that pit didn't you? Just like all those other men. Oh well the past is the past. Time to catch up."

[Victor]

"Oh Nightwing, it's you. What are you doing here? Oh, and I am sorry about that pit, but, I was sure that we would die, and therefore, I teleported the heck out of there. I went into hiding after being nearly killed. I am glad to see you alive though. Have you seen the others? We should meet with the Elders of the Covenant now, I must see them, and tell them what I know."

Victor walks over to the confessional and walks inside. He then reaches under the kneeler and presses a button. A door opens somewhere in the Cathedral.

Victor walks toward the door and turns to Nightwing. "Come, we better get to the capital." Victor grabs a torch from the wall, and holds his hand out. Sparks shoot out of his hand and light the torch. Victor walks through the door and starts decending the stairs beyond.

[Nightwing]

"They're dead last I heard. I nearly escaped with my life. THe Elders have been expecting you. They know you're here everybody does. Including a girl I don't know her name but she said she's glad you're alive. Any idea who that is? Anyways I must be off I cannot go for they want only to talk to you. I am off to do my rounds if you need me I'll be on the building over there." Nightwing points at the building." After you are done we can hang out with our old buds the ones who didn't fight that war." Nightwing made his way slowly for the door.

[Victor]

Victor bids his friend good bye, and decends down the stairs.

He comes to a large stone chamber with 3 doors, one in the center of the far wall, and two on the other side walls.

Victor makes his way to the large center door and knocks......

[Nightwing]

Nightwing liked the peace and quit at his post. It was a beautiful night and he liked watching out for his people. But something was strange Victor had just come out of nowhere expected to be dead and yet he looks fine. " Someone is tracking him."
