Any Linux or Ubuntu users here?

I'm thinking of replacing Windows with Ubuntu or something, but some aspects of it seem kind of complicated. I wouldn't mind getting some first hand advice to help me make my decision.

Leave the old town drunk on his wooden stool.
Leave the autumn leaves in the swimming pool.
Leave the poor black child in his crumbling school today.

Leave the novelist in his daydream tune.
Leave the scientist in his rubik's cube.
Let true genius in the padded room remain.

Cause everything must belong somewhere.
The train off in the distance, bicycle chained to the stairs.
Everything must belong somewhere.
I know that now, that's why I'm staying here.

I can't believe no one here has Linux! ohmy.gif

You're all windows/mac users then, right?

I have a Ubuntu Live CD and I'm thinking about dual-booting, but I haven't yet and I don't really know a lot about it.

i dual-boot with Linux and XP Home edition (hell yeah). I rarely use Linux though, mainly for learning languages (computer languages) or other things.

If you haven't used it before squady then id dual boot first, you can always delete XP after you get a feel for Linux, hell you may not like it if you never used it before, so you might be left with nout haha.

Dual boot first in my opinion, best of both cool.gif although you need a big HDD to contain both OS, files etc.

I dual boot Windows ME (yeah, fagging ME) and Xubuntu. I dunno if you consider Xubuntu Ubuntu, if you do, I do use Ubuntu. If you don't, I don't. Well, you should consider Xubuntu Linux anyway, so I do use Linux.

How are the controls on Xubuntu? Is it hard to use?
